Welcome letter
Ultrasonography is evolving. The Ultrasound transducer becomes an “Echoscope” in the hands of every Clinician, Surgeon and Imaging Specialist. Elastography tends to become a “Virtual biopsy” adding clinical value in all organs.
In this rapidly changing environment, the Hellenic Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (HSUMB) has mobilized and invited, under the auspices of the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB), Ultrasound and Elastography experts from Greece and around the world to attend this educational event and share their knowledge and experience.
The Euroson School 2023 Program consists of different thematic topics. Each topic is divided in a Theoretical and Practical Course. The Theoretical Part consists of lectures, while the Practical Part consists of presentations that demonstrate the technique of an Ultrasound/Elastography examination or Interventional procedure. After the demonstration, the speakers are expected to present this examination technique to a small audience, using videos or an Ultrasound machine on a model or phantom.
We invite you to take part in this comprehensive educational event. We strongly believe that you will benefit from the experience and “know-how” of our distinguished Speakers and Workshop Faculty, while your participation, questions and comments during the Congress will contribute in making the Euroson School 2023 an interactive educational event.
